According to Dawn Park police spokesperson Charles Tshabalala, the victim was walking down Conradie Street at around 8pm when the incident took place.
“The suspect came out of nowhere and fired at the victim,” says Tshabalala.
The motive is still unknown.
Police are investigating and witnesses are requested to come forward with any information that may lead to an arrest.
