Kupferberg completes first river race

Stretching for 18km, the route was designed to exclude technical, tricky rapids to ensure that new paddlers would manage without any trouble.

Boksburg’s Vallon Kupferberg, racing in the second Sub-master age category, finished the race as the second Sub-master in 1:37:00.

With rivers offering kinder currents with the rains having subsided, the new river race season is set for some interesting races ahead.
