Slippery criminal finally nabbed

A Mozambican man was arrested for shoplifting by the security guard of a company situated in Top Road, Anderbolt, Boksburg North, on May 15, around 11am.

The suspect went into the company and took an electric drill machine, to the value of R1 780.

He was arrested and detained at Boksburg North SAPS.

A case of theft is being investigated.

While the investigation officers were investigating the suspect, they found that he has two warrants of arrest out against him.

The warrants are for burglary and shoplifting at Jeppe and Randburg.

In total, he has 28 cases against his name, which range from shoplifting, burglary, theft, robbery and MITP.

The suspect used several different names and surnames each time he has been arrested.

Due to good investigation, this was found out before he could appear in court for this current case.

Therefore, the investigation officer could prevent a bail application this time.
