Boksburg Printers helps the needy beat winter blues
Boksburg Printers recently partnered with a local church called Potters House Ministries to help the needy people of Reiger Park to survive the winter chill.
They visited the area on Saturday morning, May 10, to donate 214 blankets to those who need a hand to keep them warm this coming winter.
Each family received two blankets.
Director at Boksburg Printers, Andrew Tinker, said the motive is to make a difference in the lives of needy people in the Boksburg communities.
He mentioned that the donation was a token of their appreciation and a way of giving back to the community.
Tinker also stated that successful members of the community like his company, have a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate and contribute to the common good.
“Investing in your community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support our business,” says Tinker.
One of the beneficiaries, an unemployed mother, Lynette Hero, thanked Boksburg Printers for its generosity to the disadvantaged.
“They made sure that my children will survive the winter chill,” said Hero.
The beneficiaries were also treated to a day of musical performances by members of Potters House Ministries.
Reiger Park Boys Brigade Band also entertained the crowd.

I want to express my gratitude and respect to the Boksburg Avertiser, especially Fannie, for your keen interest in the community of Reiger Park and the tremendous value that you add to the greater Boksburg.
Dear Pamela,
