Drug dealer sentenced to three years – court news in brief
The following cases were heard in the Boksburg Magistrates Court.

* Nigerian national Chisoke Madunaka Francis (39) from Boksburg North was found guilty on two counts of drug dealing on May 8. He was sentenced to one year imprisonment and three years’ imprisonment. The sentences are to run concurrently. Magistrate Surty presided over the matter.
* Thabiso Mokaba (25), who has six previous convictions, was found guilty on five counts of different crimes, while his co-accused, Solomon Thato Mashabane (24), was found guilty on three counts of various crimes.
The crimes include house break-in with intent to rob, robbery with aggravating circumstances, pointing of firearm and possession of firearm.
Accused one, Mokhaba, was sentenced to eight years, 10 years, 20 years, six years and 10 years. The sentences are to run concurrently. Accused two, Mashabane, was sentenced to eight years, 10 years and 15 years. The sentences are to run concurrently.
Magistrate Sijren Harichand presided over the matter.
* Ndukwenhle Phillip Dlamini (30) from Vosloorus, was found guilty for theft on May 13, and was fined R1 000 or three months imprisonment. Magistrate Jurg Viviers presided over the matter.
* Tshepo Happy Sehlooho (24) and Mzwakhe Thomas Motaung (29) from Vosloorus were found guilty on charges of house break-in with intent to steal, and theft on May 12.
They were sentenced to three years imprisonment. Mzwakhe has five previous convictions and has been declared unfit to possess a firearm. Magistrate Jurg Viviers presided over the matter.
* Mpho Mthembu (18) from Angelo informal settlement was found guilty of theft and sentenced to three months imprisonment, suspended for a period of three years. Magistrate Josias presided over the matter.
