According to Supt Wilfred Kgasago, spokesperson for the EMPD, the accident occurred around 5am at the intersection of North Rand and Rondebult roads.
“Allegations by some independent witnesses claim that one vehicle turned in the face of the other,” he says.
The EMPD Accident and Reconstruction Unit is busy investigating the accident and a case of culpable homicide was opened at Boksburg North police station.
