Boksburg Stadium hosts baseball Gauteng provincials
A two-day provincial tournament was played over the weekend of March 15 and 16, at the Boksburg City Stadium, where the Easterns u-12 and u-18 teams claimed victory.
Provinces which were involved included Northern Gauteng, Eastern Gauteng, Gauteng and South Western Gauteng (collectively known as NEGS).
The tournament included two sections, juniors and seniors. The junior section included u-12, 15 and 18.
The senior section was won by Gauteng.
The teams all travel to Durban at the end of May for the Inter Regional Tournament where they will compete against teams across from across the country.
