Netcare denies allegations of bad service
Netcare911 has denied the allegations made by a Sunward Park resident stating that they failed to attend a medical emergency.

Delene Boyens, from Sunward Park, alleged that on February 15, she contacted the ambulance service after a woman in the area had been shot.
Boyens says she contacted Netcare911 but was put on hold.
“This was after I told them it was a life-threatening emergency, and that the woman had been shot in her abdomen.”
She adds that she then contacted the EMPD, who answered her call quickly and efficiently sending out emergency vehicles.
Santi Steinmann, from Netcare911, says she listened to all calls taken that evening, and the one for Sunward Park was made by one of their crew members.
“After receiving the call, an ambulance arrived at the scene within seven minutes, and transported the woman to hospital,” says Steinmann.
