
On the same day, the forum will hold its AGM to elect its new members of the executive committee.
The event will be held at the park in Killian Avenue, opposite Cinderella Shopping Centre, and will start at 2pm. Making the suburb a safe place to live in is among other things that the forum has achieved since the dawn of its existence.
Currently, the forum consists of 120 members, including the 36 patrollers, who fight the battle against criminals, day and night.
According one of the executive committee members, Lance Close, their goal is to make their community one of the safest area to live in, and to achieved this, they plan to get more residents to join the CPF and the patrollers.
“We have been operating for about a year now, but there has been a significant drop in crime,” says Close.
Community members are invited to attend the AGM.
