Ekurhuleni’s Garcia advances to final qualifiers in Tanzania
Ekurhuleni’s Nicole Garcia finished seventh at the 2014 Lalla Aicha Tour School Pre-Qualifying Tournament at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam Golf Club in Tanzania.
Garcia shared the seventh spot finish with Rebecca Green at the three day event which ran from December 5 to 8.
Having played the Blue Course in the C-Qualifier, Garcia opened her campaign with a 74 and added a 78 to finish on eight-over-par 152 after the first two rounds.
The recently named Player of the Year by the Ekurhuleni Womens Golf Union, also picked up two birdies in the second round.
Her seventh spot finish means that she advances to the Final Qualifier, which takes place from December 14 to 18.
