Boksburg host CBC in local derby
CBC Old Boys will travel to the Prince George Park ground on Sunday, December 8, to take on neighbours Boksburg Cricket Club in a last round fixture match of the first half of the season.

Boksburg were scheduled to travel to CBC last week Sunday, before the announcement from Eastern Cricket about all league matches being called off because of flooded pitches.
Both teams have had contrasting results in the league this season.
The hosts sit in ninth position on the log and will be looking to end a bad run to the campaign, which has seen them only win one match, which was the season-opener against Tembisa.
CBC, who are resting in second position, will be aiming to keep on the pressure on pace-setters Kempton Park.
A win this Sunday will help them stay in contention for top honours.
With the start of the match scheduled for 9.30am, supporters can come early to witness all of the derby action.
Boksburg will look to top order batsmen John Haywood and Ruan du Plessis, who have been in scintillating form despite their team’s overall poor performances thus far. Haywood and du Plessis have consistently piled up the runs for Boksburg this campaign and their performances will have a significant impact in the encounter.
Meanwhile, CBC’s opening partnership of Wesley Coulentianos and Henning du Plooy slaughtered Tembisa’s bowlers during their recent encounter. The duo practically and single-handedly chased down the 137-run target Tembisa had set when they combined for a 126-run score.
They will be hoping to carry through their momentum to improve their chances of victory.
