Healthy Boksburg contingent for Commonwealth Wrestling Championships
The Primrose Wrestling Club in Germiston was the venue where a number of Boksburg wrestlers booked their spots at the senior trials for the upcoming Commonwealth Wrestling Championships set to take place in Kempton Park.

Marco Coetzee (50-55kg) and Adem Digocich (96-120kg), both from the Boksburg Wrestling Club, secured their participation for the freestyle category at the Saturday, November 23, trials.
Mpho Madi (48-51kg), also from the Boksburg Wrestling Club, will be wrestling in the freestyle category for ladies.
Madi is one of the higher-rated female wrestlers on the East Rand, and is also part of the Kids Haven initiative run by the Benoni Wrestling Club.
The team will be joined by Boksburg’s own, South African head coach Nico Coetzee, and Esta van Zyl will manage the ladies team.
Eastern Gauteng Wrestling congratulated all of the wrestlers, coaches and team managers who made it in the team to represent the country.
The Commonwealth Championships will take place from December 5 to 7.
