Bringing hope to orphans
A Windmill Park-based non-profit organisation called Ikhaya Labantwana Bebambisene, will be hosting a talent show to raise money to support orphans in the area.
The event will take place at Mpumelelo Day Care Centre located in Holomisa, on Saturday, November 2, at 10am.
The event organises call on residents to come and support the initiative on Saturday.
For a donation of R15 per adult and R5 per school child, supporters will be treated to live entertainment provided by local singers, dancers, a poet, motivational speakers and other activities.
Anele Ntlobozonke says the organisation provides outreach to disadvantaged children in Windmill Park and other surrounding areas.
She said proceeds from Saturday’s event will go towards providing the orphans with Christmas gift, food, school uniforms and other supplies.
He hopes that people will come in large numbers to help those who are less fortunate.
