Arrest leads to stolen goods

The arrest of two men led the Boksburg North detectives to four trailers that were recently stolen from Bronkhorstspruit, Johannesburg and Boksburg North.

On October 23, the detectives were alerted to the whereabouts of the suspects and on arriving on the scene, the men were found in with equipment often used in house break-ins, as well as a registration plate for a BMW.

Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Lieut Juanita Coetzer says the men were also found with a CCTV camera that was recently taken from the Hurrican Jenny Car Wash.

“The Boksburg North SAPS had been looking for the men as they were suspects in a trailer theft case,” says Coetzer.

“After the men had been taken in for further investigations, the detectives followed up on leads and were able to recover the stolen trailers.”

The suspects were arrested and detained at Boksburg North police station.
