Animal Run raises R90 000
The recent SPCA Animal Run mass charity motorcycle ride helped to raise R90 000 in aid of the Ekurhuleni SPCA.
According to Wilma Steynbergh, Boksburg SPCA manager, the event surpassed expectations thanks to all the bikers who showed up to support the cause.
“The second annual event was a roaring success, and the funds raised will be distributed to all the Ekurhuleni SPCAs,” she says.
The Animal Run attracted more than 900 bikes from more than 20 clubs and more than 1 000 people from all parts of the metro.
