Delay is a farce – Outa
The Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance (Outa) says the delay in signing the Transport and Related Matters Amendment Bill, under the guise that it is incorrectly tagged, is a farce.

Wayne Duvenage, chairman of Outa, says that it was questioned whether it should be tagged as a Section 76 or 75 bill.
“Every party, barring the ANC, voted against the bill,” says Duvenage.
He adds that Sanral claims that this bill is required in order to proceed with E-tolls.
“If the tagging of the bill was an issue, this should have been noted last year.
“The reality is that E-tolls have become an election issue and one that the ruling party cannot handle right now,” he adds.
