Dagga dealer dealt a blow

The EMPD Kathorus Crime Prevention Task team arrested a man around 1am, on August 2, when he was found in possession of dagga in Vosloorus.

According to Supt Wilfred Kgasago, spokesperson for the EMPD, the arrest was as a result of information provided by members of the community in the area.

“The 23-year-old suspect, found with 700g of Swazi dagga estimated to be worth R1 200 on the streets, and was arrested and taken to the Vosloorus police station,” says Kgasago.

He is expected to appear in the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court soon to face charges of possession and dealing in dagga.
