You can’t get Covid-19 from pets – Boksburg SPCA
Pet owners are advised to always practice good hygiene by washing hands with soap and water after petting and playing.
So far, no pets have been abandoned at the Boksburg SPCA since news about coronavirus surfaced.
Boksburg SPCA manager, Vicky Finnemore, assures pet owners that they can’t get coronavirus from dogs or cats.
According to Finnemore, there is currently no evidence that pets can be a source of infection.
