Suspected drug dealer busted

A suspected drug dealer, known to be operating in the Boksburg North area, was arrested on July 11, after being found in possession of a substance, believed to be CAT.

According to Lieut Juanita Coetzer, communications officer for the Boksburg North SAPS, Det W/O Charlie Faber searched a suspicious-looking vehicle on Ninth Avenue, Boksburg North.

“While searching a zipped compartment under the car’s back seat, the detective found 25 packets of is suspected of being CAT, which is an illegal substance,” says Coetzer.

The estimated value of the substance, which weighed 50g, is R2 500.
