Robinson and company find it tough going in Western Cape
When all was said and done, Country Festival were placed sixth out of 11.
Things did not go as planned for the South African Country Festival squash team at an inter-provincial tournament which took place in Stellenbosch between June 15 and 19.
The team, which featured Eastern Gauteng star player Pierce Robinson from Boksburg, won two of their overall seven games played.
Robinson, who won six of his seven encounters in a personal capacity, still took out some positives from the outing.
Quizzed on his biggest takeaway from the meeting, the number one ranked Eastern Gauteng player said: “My biggest takeaway is probably that one should never give up because no matter by how far you are loosing, you can always come back and win.”
