Black Ball United need two more coaches

Masuku also requires a fitness trainer who will specialise in ensuring the squad’s fitness levels are up to scratch.

Boksburg football team Black Ball United, which plays in the Easterns League, is looking to expand its managerial team by adding two coaches to assist at the rapidly growing club.

United, which was founded just two years ago, is in its first year in Easterns football and coach Muzi Masuku, who’s in charge of approximately 40 players between u-6 and 10, needs two more trainers to help take the club forward.

“The team is growing too fast and we need two coaches and a fitness trainer for now,” explained Masuku.

“It will be a bonus if the coaches are qualified and are mobile. What’s required from the coaches is passion and commitment, but the most important requirement from them is their availability.

“Programmes will be provided to the coaches as a guideline,” he said, before turning his attention to on-field matters.

“We are currently doing well in the league and want to keep the momentum going. The more the number of players grows, the more hands we’re going to need.”

The club trains on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Boksburg City Stadium from 4.30 to 6pm.

Elsewhere, the Boksburg Football Club travelled to Robertsham on June 8.

The reserve side went down 2-1 with Keagan Africa scoring for the visitors. The senior side are in danger of completing an entire season without a league win following their latest 4-0 loss to the hosts. –
