Owls’ mercurial outside-centre relocates to Zimbabwe
David Woolls last appearance for the Owls was in the Valke Peregrine league semi-final loss to Springs last season in Springs.

TW Boksburg Rugby Club has been dealt a big blow following the official announcement that mercurial outside-centre David Woolls won’t be playing for the Prince George outfit anymore.
Owls coach Rassie Erasmus confirmed the news to the Advertiser during one of the team’s training sessions recently.
Whoever Erasmus is going to choose to deploy in the outside-centre berth has big shoes to fill, and his work cut out.
Woolls, 24, who was the Owls’ leading try-scorer last season, has relocated to Zimbabwe due to work reasons.
According to Gary, his older brother and former teammate David will also be playing rugby in Zimbabwe. He has joined Old Georgians Rugby Club.
“It’s actually very sad that we are separated now because we’ve always played together, even when we played for the Falcons in 2014.
“We made a big name for ourselves and were called the Woolls brothers, so it’s very sad not playing with my little bro.”
Woolls, who’s a diesel mechanic by profession, starred for Boksburg in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018.
