Home owner escapes unhurt as house is ransacked

The thugs entered the house and stole a laptop, TV set and two cellphones before fleeing the scene.

A Libradene woman escaped unhurt after robbers stormed her house while she was watching TV in her home on July 7.

According to Boksburg SAPS spokesperson Sgt Cebisa Maseko, the victim told the police that she heard a commotion from outside before she opened the door to check what all the commotion was about.

Thereupon, two men emerged and shone a torch in his face. When she asked them as to what they were looking for, they told her that they wanted her TV.

They then pushed her into the house, but she managed to exit the house and ran to one of her neighbours’ house.

They then continued to ransack the place.
