Full road closure for the 100 Cycle Challenge
Gauteng’s new autumn road race has been branded as being safe, fast and flat. It introduces an exhilarating new 100km challenge to Gauteng’s cycling calendar.

t has been announced that there will be full road closure for the inaugural 100 Cycle Challenge on Sunday, May 6 at Germiston Lake.
The Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department confirmed full logistical support for the race.
Gauteng’s new autumn road race has been branded as being safe, fast and flat. It introduces an exhilarating new 100km challenge to Gauteng’s cycling calendar.
The deadline for online entries at www.100cyclechallenge.co.za has been moved to May 2.
Entry fee is R400 plus R35 day license per entry in the Gran Fondo category (mass participation – all ages 15 years and older).
For local contestants, late entries and race number collection are at Cycle Lab Boksburg on Saturday, May 5.
The late entry fee at Cycle Labs is R500 plus R35 day license.
Cyclists who enter between April 16 and May 5 will not be seeded for the race.)
