TW Boksburg prop Gary Woolls was imperative in getting the Owls over the advantage line. With the visitors requiring at least three men to take him down following every surge, holes emerged which the hosts ruthlessly took advantage of.

It was a flurry of tries at Prince George Park.

A rampant TW Boksburg side ran in more than 10 tries to skin American touring side Schuylkill River in an international friendly match on Saturday, March 24.

The Owls left the visitors red-faced as they dished out a 96-21 hiding for the Philadelphia outfit to take home.

Schuylkill River tour to different countries every few years and this is the club’s first visit to South Africa.

They play their rugby in the Mid Atlantic Conference league.
