ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said paramedics arrived on the scene at 9am to find the taxi on the side of the road, planted against a large tree.
The passengers were found walking around on the scene.
“The patients were treated for their injuries and then transported to hospital for further care. The driver of the taxi was found to have sustained minor injuries but declined treatment,” Meiring said.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
