Four go to war in boxing ring
It was an explosive night of bouts during the Four Go to War boxing tournament held at Emperors Palace on Saturday evening, October 21.
The tournament was staged in association with Golden Gloves.
The red-hot talent, including Simphiwe Vetyeka, Deejay Kriel, Ryno Liebenberg and Patrick Mukala, battled it out for glory.
Results were as follows:
Straw-weight: Deejay Kriel won on points over eight rounds against Thembelani Okolo.
Featherweight: Azinga Fuzile won by knockout in the fourth round against Tshifhiwa Munyai.
Featherweight: Lerato Dlamini beat Simphiwe Vetyeka on points.
Super middleweight: Ryno Liebenberg beat Patrick Mukala on points.
