Mbenge, Muller headline Hurtin’ for Certain
South African welterweight champion Thulani Mbenge and Johnny Muller will be two of the stand-out names at this Saturday’s latest Golden Gloves boxing event at Emperors Palace.
The latest Golden Gloves instalment, dubbed ‘Hurtin’ for Certain’, will see Mbenge face WBO No. 15 ranked Jayan Inson (13-0) of the Philippines while Muller (20-7-2) fights Thabiso Mchunu.
Despite edging Mchunu in experience, this promises not to be a straight forward one for Muller, whose opponent boasts an impressive 17-3 record.
In the welterweight clash, someone will be hurting for certain as either of Inson and Mbenge (10-0) will lose their perfect professional record.
