The men were apparently fighting over meat in Windmill Park when the incident occurred.
According to Const Nkemeleng Mabula, the deceased was stabbed on New Year’s Day.
“The suspect has been on the run ever since that day until Sunday, April 8, when he was arrested through the help from the community members who tipped us off about the wanted suspect.
“The suspect will be linked to another case of assault (domestic violence related),” Mabula said.
The suspect was expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on April 11, on charges of murder and assault.
