80 000 Viagra pills intercepted at OR Tambo Airport

SARS Customs officials intercepted six boxes containing 80 000 Viagra pills worth R8-million at the OR Tambo International Airport on Friday, October 7.

Sars said the drugs – valued at R7 921 200. 00 – were part of a possible counterfeit footwear shipment that was detained on September 25.
The inspection found 79 212 Viagra pills with 3000 Adidas footwear.
The goods were seized and will be handed over to South African Police Service for further investigation.
