Local law firm supports #Cupcake4MyHero
Local law firm in Boksburg, Hammond Pole Attorneys, in conjunction with East Rand Mall Mugg and Bean, bought 350 cupcakes from an organisation called Cupcakes of Hope, to support children battling with cancer.
Cupcakes of Hope is a non-profit organisation, with the mission to create awareness of the early warning signs of childhood cancer and supporting families who have been affected by childhood cancer by raising funds.
The firm, along with the restaurant, saw it fit to make a difference in these children’s lives as all proceeds will go towards supporting children with cancer.
The initiative ran throughout the whole month of September, with the theme, #Cupcake4MyHero, which saw people all around Boksburg and other towns supporting this great initiative.
Mugg and Bean also had a Wall of Hope were people had the opportunity to write messages of hope to people living with cancer.
Michelle Larsen, from Cupcakes of Hope, expressed her joy at the contribution they received from Hammond Pole Attorneys and East Rand Mall Mugg and Bean.
“I am blessed with the support I got from the two companies, it really means a lot as their contribution will make a difference in the lives of the children,” Larsen said.
Andrew Gerhard, from the firm, said they are pleased to be part of this great initiative in supporting this deserving cause.
