EMPD spokesperson Wilfred Kgasago said that on Monday, September 5, at around 6pm, a constable from the Brakpan Precinct received a signal of a hijacked truck tractor.
“The signal led the officer to Boksburg Central Business District where he located a hijacked truck tractor.
“On enquiring about the recovered truck, it emerged that the vehicle was hijacked in Johannesburg earlier the same day,” said Kgasago.
The recovered Volvo truck tractor was taken to SAPS Van Ryn Deep pound in Benoni for safe-keeping.
