Box league to get the adrenaline pumping
In the mood for some really fun and active workouts with a competitive edge?

If you are a member of a crossfit box, then why not join the Hardihood Box League that kicks off on September 14?
Members of each box (local workout station where crossfit is practised) will be competing in the league.
Note, this will be a closed league and only members of the participating boxes may enter.
Competing boxes are CF Kempton, CF Durabo (East Rand Mall area), CF Urban Shack (Flora Centre, Boksburg), CF Bedfordview, CF Edenvale and CF Urban Shack Unite (Benoni).
This league is aimed at the beginners/novices/experts who have not built up the courage to compete at other bigger crossfit competitions.
There will be the following leagues: First League, Second League and Social League.
Social League will be for the absolute beginner, Second League for the intermediate and First League for the more expert members.
The league is for teams of two. It will run over a 10-week period, with the top eight scores to count towards the final score.
According to organisers of the league they are aiming at making this as fun as possible, with each workout designed specifically for each league.
There will be a guideline of what each person should be able to do come league night.
All First League teams will do their Workout Of the Day (Wod) together at the same venue. And all Second League teams will do their Wod together, but at a different venue.
Each league will do a different Wod at a different venue each week, with the intention of each box hosting each league twice.
This means that competitors get to do their Wod at a few other boxes in their area and compete in a friendly, safe environment against like-minded people, who are at the same level as the competitor.
The Wod will be an hour long (including rest periods and time to set up equipment, etc.), having two teams of two working in the same arena.
Every participant will also be required to judge one of the opposing league teams on the night.
There will be prizes and awards for the top three winners of each league, which will be awarded at a prize-giving at the end of the league.
The league will be every Wednesday evening. Arrival at the box at 7pm with the Wod starting at 7.30pm.
