Don Ndlovu crowned king of Colgate Race

The annual famous Colgate marathon was held at the Boksburg City Stadium on May 1.

Don Ndlovu from Cool Running was crowned king of the lung-busting 32km distance with Marial Vilakazi winning the women’s race.

Both runners clocked 1:48:58 and 2:20:24 respectively.

Race organiser, Natalie van Eeden told the Advertiser that Boksburg Athletic Club was very grateful for the generous sponsorship of Colgate, who ensured that participants in the 15km and 32km races each received a medal, T-shirt and goody bag filled with Colgate products.

Boksburg Athletic Club’s association with Colgate goes back more than 30 years and is one of the longest-standing road race / sponsor partnerships in the country.
