Heart-stopping racing action at the Rock Raceway

The Rock Raceway venue is set to be a hive of motorsport activity with high octane racing planned for oval track and drag racing fans over the weekend of May 14 and 15.

All of the oval track competitors will be in action on Saturday as they hotfoot around the 400m oval circuit in the quest to obtain the ultimate podium finish.

If you thrive on adrenaline then this will be one event you do not want to miss. Rotary V8 fans are also in for a treat.

All the favourite competitors will include Kids in Racing SA Ninja Class (ages six to 12 years old), 100cc micro midgets, 125 karts, formula 2 midgets, 1600 stock rods, 1660 modified saloons, Lexus V8s, 2.1L pinto class, 2L modified saloons, super midgets, super saloons and thunder V8 outlaw sprints.

Motoring aficionados are urged to come in their exponential numbers in support of their favourite racing drivers.

Next Bandit Street 2 Strip drags will take centre stage on Sunday.

Gates open at 2pm with racing starting at 4pm. Bring your daily drive along and enjoy heads up street drags in a safe environment.

For Sound Off fans, Bass Triggers will also be on hand as they test the beat boxes of various chariots. So if you think you have what it takes to have the highest DB readings then bring your daily drive along and enter the Sound Off Comp. Bass Triggers will host the sound off comps including bass boxing.

There will also be a Dyno Day for the petrol heads who want to test their HP/Kw output at R50 a run.
