A world class tribute to Elvis Presley starring Shaky Russell
The Way It Was is a show that will keep audience members on the edges of their seats, due to Shaky Russell's array of custom-made costumes and energetic performance.
With his incredible vocal range and resemblance to ”The King”, Russell and an awesome live 12-piece cast will perform more than 32 of Elvis’s greatest hits at the Barnyard Theatre, at Emperors Palace, from April 26 to May 1.

Elvis Presley was one of the greatest singers and entertainers the world has ever known, and shook up the music industry for three decades before passing away in 1977, at the young age of 42.
His death created a void in the hearts of music lovers the world over, and this show aims to fill that gap by paying tribute to the legend that was Elvis – both the man and the performer.
This non-stop nostalgic party will takes you back to an age of discovery, when people enjoyed life and rocked like there was no tomorrow.
The show captures the onstage excitement of Elvis’s greatest performances and energetically reproduces hits spanning the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s.
You can look forward to timeless hits, including Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, American Trilogy, Always On My Mind, Burning Love, Can’t Help Falling In Love and Suspicious Minds.
Russell will be accompanied on stage by a group of professionals, including Craig Urbani, Chanelle Davids and a live rocking band and cast.
The show will be staged at Emperors Palace Barnyard Theatre from April 26 to May 1.
