Erwee walks away with his 10th Automark Knight accolade
Martin Erwee, from East Rand Toyota, pocketed his 10th Toyota Automark Sales Executive Knight of the Year accolade.
Erwee is the first Automark Knight to receive the Automark Knighthood for the 20th consecutive year.
“I am very proud, but humble; every time feels like the first time winning this title,” said Erwee.
The prestigious 2015 Knights Investiture Ceremony took place at Legend Golf and Safari Resort, in Limpopo, on Saturday, March 12.
This is a remarkable achievement for Erwee, since the entire Toyota network competes for the Knight of the Year title.
This is the most prestigious award made by Toyota and certain requirements need to be met in order to be chosen.
Erwee also won a trip to Mauritius with his partner, from June 12 to 16.
In addition to Erwee’s achievement, Debbie Smit has become the first Lexus East Rand sales executive to receive Lexus Knighthood.
Not only is Smit one of three in Africa to receive Lexus Knighthood, but she is also the first woman to do so.
“It is an honour and very hard work,” said Smit, who’s been in the motor industry for three years.
