The convoy, consisting of residents, biker clubs and the truck, will leave at around 8am on January 30, and will travel to Senekal where animal feed will be delivered to a farmer in Senekal.
According to Janine Boshoff, other farmers in the area will be waiting for the truck at this farm to help offload and distribute the feed to needy farmers around the area.
The water will be delivered to various locations.
Everyone going along will then visit old age homes around the area and hand out biscuits, snacks and treats, and also spend some time with the elderly.
They will overnight at one of the guest houses, have a braai in Senekal, and return again on Sunday morning.
To generate more funds to continue buying feed and water, raffle tickets at R50 each are being sold, with a base set, worth R6 000, up for grabs.
The draw for the prize will be done on Monday, February 8.
For more information on the raffle tickets, phone Anneke Britz on 083 414 1701, or Boshoff on 084 044 6314.
