St Dominic’s Catholic School for Girls in Boksburg yet again achieved a 100 per cent pass rate with 93 per cent of the matriculants obtaining bachelor degree entrances.

A total of 69 learners wrote the 2015 IEB matric examinations, and achieved a combined total of 58 distinctions.

The top three learners from the school are Nicole Cancela who received six distinctions (accounting, Afrikaans first additional language, life orientation, life sciences, mathematics and physical science), Megan Roberts who received five distinctions (Afrikaans first additional language, French, life orientation, life sciences and mathematical literacy) and Gabriella van Praag who obtained four distinctions (Afrikaans first additional language, French, life orientation and physical science).

“I am happy with another 100 per cent pass rate and I congratulate the girls on their consistent hard work,” said the headmaster, Roger Loring.
