Boksburg Cardinals junior results – November 14-15

The Boksburg Cardinals had four teams entered in the competition: two u-9 sides, u-12 and u-15.

Boksburg’s first u-9 side played three games, winning all of them. Boksburg’s second side played two games and lost one.

The first side subsequently came away with the Sportsmanship trophy, while Hayden McLeod, from the second side, won the Tiger of the Tournament award.

The u-12s finished second in the tournament, having played four matches and winning three.

The u-15s also finished second at the meeting. The team did very well in beating the top side – Benoni Dakota – and advancing to the final, where they were, unfortunately, beaten by the Benoni Mohawks. – @SabeloBoksburg
