CBC add to Springs’ woes
CBC Old Boys ensured that Springs Old Boys remained rooted at the bottom of the Easterns Premier League table, with a 1-0 win on their home ground, on Saturday, May 9.
David McKay’s strike after the half-time break proved decisive as Glenn Brierley’s men continued their impressive start to the season.
Asked if the scoreboard was an accurate reflection of the day’s proceedings, Brierley said: “We dominated the match, we just couldn’t finish. We were all over them and it should have been 4 or 5 goals if we had taken our chances.”
