One dead, three critical in R23 accident
A back-seat passenger was declared dead on the scene, following an accident on the the R23, on February 9.
Three more people were critically injured.
This is according to EMER-G-MED spokesperson Danielle Dooley, who says the emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at around 2am.
A Mercedes crashed into the back of a Tazz at a high speed, on the R23 near the N17 in Boksburg.
Two people in the Tazz sustained critical injuries, one person sustained moderate injuries and another passenger lost their life.

The driver of the Mercedes sustained minor injuries.
“One of the critically injured patients was transported to Tambo Memorial Hospital. It was revealed that the patient had C5 to C7 fractures.
“It took EMS around 45 minutes to extract the front passenger and two back-seat passengers,” said Dooley
