Two shootings over the weekend rock Dawn Park
Two shootings over the weekend has rocked Dawn Park.
On Sunday, February 1, a man was brutally gunned down and died on the scene.
The shooting was confirmed by Dawn Park SAPS spokesperson, Capt Charles Tshabalala.
The man was found in his vehicle. Nothing was apparently taken.
Tshabalala said the man was shot at close range in the chest and forehead.
The motive behind the killing is unknown. Details are still sketchy but the police are investigating the case.
No one has been arrested.
In another shooting, a man was shot dead outside his home on Saturday, January 31. The man died on the scene.
“The man was shot at a close range in his chest,” said Capt Tshabala.
It is unclear if it was a contract killing. Nothing was stolen.
