Child (5) rescued from drain hole
A five-year-old child fell into a drain hole on Sunday, February 1 at Windmill Park and suffered minor injuries.
According to an eyewitness, Pastor Arnold Fortune, the child was running after her mother when she accidentally fell into the hole.
“It was very devastating to see a child in so much pain. We managed to pull her out and immediately rushed her to Tambo Memorial Hospital.
“Residents have complained before about this drain hole but no one has done anything about it. It is not safe especially for the children in our community,” Fortune said.
