Cyclist killed in accident
A man died at the corner of Main Reef and Rondebult roads in Boksburg, after his bicycle collided with a truck on the evening of February 1.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said it is understood the man, riding a bicycle, collided with a truck.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found the man lying in the middle of the road.
“On assessment, paramedics discovered that the man showed no signs of life and had sustained multiple severe injuries,” said Bodasing.
He was declared dead.
Authorities were on scene to investigate.
