Jaque Fourie retires from Springbok rugby
Springbok outside centre Jaque Fourie has retired from international rugby.

His announcement follows that of Toulon lock Bakkies Botha, who also recently retired from the international game.
Fourie (31), who plies his trade in Japan and holds the Springbok record for the most Tests as a Centre combination (29) alongside Jean de Villiers, clarified his decision via a statement.
“I thoroughly thought about my career status and decided to focus on my career at the Kobelco Steelers rather than make myself available for international rugby,” he told his sports management agency Union Sports Group.
“It was a difficult decision to retire from international rugby, but I look forward to seeing what the future holds for me and my family.”
The former Golden Lions midfielder made his Bok debut at the 2003 Rugby World Cup against Uruguay before going on to score 32 tries in his total 72 Tests for the Boks. – @SabeloBoksburg
