Rain plays havoc to Easterns cricket league matches
CBC Old Boys’ Premier XI and Boksburg Cricket Club’s Promotion League side both saw their respective encounters scheduled for Sunday, November 23, called-off due to the day’s persistent showers.
The clash between Old Boys and KT Windies in Premier Reserve League (PRL) was also affected.
“All the matches that didn’t go ahead on Sunday have been cancelled and won’t be replayed, so the results are considered as rain draws which means teams will be awarded two points each,” read a statement from Eastern Cricket.
Old Boys Premier XI, who were scheduled to face Tembisa, welcome Duduza this weekend while Boksburg, who shared the spoils with Wattville, will now turn their attention to Bakerton who visit PG Park on Sunday.
In the PRL, Springs Old Boys will welcome CBC for the battle of the Old Boys.
