The Advertiser paid a visit to Balmoral College to find out about the paper from the school’s Grade 12s.
Among the interviewees was the school’s head-boy Lester Baloyi.
Asked how they found the exam, the school’s seniors responded:

Coleen Wilson: “It was a bit easy, it wasn’t difficult, it was just moderate.”

Pontsho Matlala: “The paper was pretty fair, it was challenging but I managed to answer the questions.”

Joyce Mande: “It was challenging in some parts. Some parts were easy, because we were well-prepared by Mr Nkosi.”

Confidence Mdhluli: “The paper was good, it wasn’t bad; obviously some parts were challenging but I’m expecting an ‘A’.”

Mapalo Mwape: “The paper was cool, I enjoyed it, especially the essay about ‘Animal Farm’ – I really enjoy the book.”

Christian Mathebe: “The paper was nice because I studied and, thus, well-prepared.”

Loveness Sibanyoni: “The paper was nice, it wasn’t difficult and I’m hoping for a distinction.”

Thobeka Msiza: “The paper was very good, everything in there was learnt and I think a lot of us will get good results.”

Tamires Gove: “The paper was long, challenging but cool because we did most of the questions that were there.”

Lester Baloyi: “The paper was challenging but I tackled it, it was mediocre compared to the other paper we’ve written so far.” – @FanieBoksburg
