According to the Ekurhuleni metro spokesperson, Themba Gadebe, there was a fault found in the feeder-breaker that caused the power supply interruptions.
By 5pm engineers were already working on fixing it and the fault in the feeder-breaker, says Gadebe, was successfully repaired.
“Power was restored from 6pm beginning with East Rand Mall and the surrounding areas.”
