Potts succumbs to Freight Train
Anthony ‘Freight Train’ Hamilton earned his first UFC victory following his TKO win over local MMA star Ruan Potts at Sacremento’s Sleep Train Arena on Saturday, August 30 in the US.
According to www.fighters.com, the bout, which subjected Potts to his second successive UFC loss, was stopped after Hamilton relentlessly landed multiple shots to Potts’ ribs.
As the blows piled up, the ref was left with little choice but to stop the fight due to repeated unanswered strikes.
The win, which arrived 4:17 into round two, took Hamilton’s UFC record to 1-1 while Potts’ receded to 0-2.
